Vote for Kylie-Mango Minster 2010- Herding Group

Yes, I know, it’s a shameless plug but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do! I have entered into the Herding group at the MANGO MINSTER 2010 being that I was the most special judge of the herding doggies last year and I knew how much fun they all had!  I thought for some of the new readers who are visiting do to the judging I would show you some more recent pictures with me and my best friend Molly! I love CHASE!! Can you see??

Mommy insisted I keep my Boots on, so I think that was a disadvantage… but I wasn’t going to let it stop me from trying!

I’m always happy when I get the chance to run and stretch my leggies!

I’m even nice enough to share the stick Mommy gave me with Molly!!

But not for long!! Then the chase is on again!!

Chatting with a Furiend…

Last night, Mommy was helping me catch up on your blogs. I came across my buddy Mochi. She left me a message!! I jumped up and started to dance around the room and talking back to her. Mommy thought it was soo funny, so she grabbed her celli-phone. The video got deleted when she tried to send it to herself! DOH! So we broke out the old camera and did a video but I had already heard Mochi’s message 3 times so I was a little less talk-a-tive back this time, but you get the idea! Woooo

Doggie’s Beware! We have had a breach in the perimeter!

Breaking News,  THIS JUST IN!!

I went out for my morning walkie with Mommy (She is still home today) and you will be SHOCKED to know that THE SNOW THIEF has broken into my Estate!!

I insisted to Mommy we must call the Authorities and notify the Leasing Office that there has been a robbery!

Remember this?? From my play date with Molly??

We stood next to the same tree so you would know there was no funky photoshopping… Can you see I was reluctant to even sit, I was utmost distressed!!

I sniffed and sniffed. I was sure ALL that snow couldn’t have gone too far in such a short amount of time!!

I was able to track down this small amount left!! I let Mommy know that it is my duty as an Honorary Sibe to guard this and not let that Snow Thief back into my Estate!

Mommy, please… I am too upset right now to pose for pictures!!

Please all you pups, be on the lookout for the Snow Thief! Mango, I can only assume he is heading East of 495 next, so be prepared! Maybe you and Dex can take shifts…

Posting Comments…

Mommy was home today with me because her back hurt again. So I thought it would be a great day to catch up on commenting on all your blogs! But none of the blogs are letting us comment?! We have been trying all day!! On just about everyones blog!! It just keeps loading a white page that says “Bad Request”.

Is anyone else having problems commenting or is this an issue I need my Daddy to fix?? Thanks!!

Wear me out Weekend…

I know it has been a whole week since I have posted and I am going to have a word with Mommy about that. And it’s probably been even longer since I have commented on lots of your blogs… I will have a word with Mommy about that too… but, before I do, since I have her attention at the moment, let me tell you about my very busy weekend!

Friday 6:00pm:  Mommy comes home, gives me dinner, takes me for a walk with my buddy Molly. I figure all is normal. THEN, there’s a phone ring ring and Mommy puts my collar and leash on and puts me in my crate?! That isn’t right!! Then she leaves me and runs out! Now I’m really scratching my head… Only a couple seconds later she comes back in… with other voices! I sound alarm and let her know that there are intruders in the house. She came in and took me out of my crate and held my leash. It was Reese’s Mommy, Mallory!! I remember her!! Although I still kinda growled at her… (They do give me treats when I growl. I’m no fool!) But I wasn’t so sure about this guy she brought along. It wasn’t Reese either. I barked at him. and he offered me a treat… Ooo, I like treats! But then I growled again. and he offered me another treat! Ooo, I could learn to like you!! He knelt down and offered me his paw, so I offered him mine back, as a show of good faith. and he offered me a treat!! I sniffed and sniffed and leaned in a little cause I thought I could smell Reese on him and then he was staring at me and moved in to my face!! AHHH!! Attack!! Intruder!!

(Note from Mom: Josh took full responsibility for Kylie to snap at him. He didn’t even realize what he had done until Mallory and I pointed it out! But he was eye to eye with her and leaned over her! I can’t really blame her for not liking it! She did not make contact and Josh even said she snapped back more then anything!!)

Boy did I show him! A few minutes later I offered him my paw as a truths. and he gave me a treat! Daddy came home a little bit later and all 5 of us hung out and had Chinese food and played Wii. Well, I had more treats and they had Chinese food… and they played Wii, and I kept a close eye on that Josh guy. But it was still a lot of fun.

Saturday 1:30 AM I put myself to bed cause those crazy heads were still up playing!

Saturday 10:30 AM  I got to go for a walk with Molly! Here is the story.

That was part of the Christmas Pressie I got her. Can you believe it took until today The 24th of JANUARY for us girls to get together and exchange gifts!?

Making New Friends

Today was a very fun day!! Little did I know that Mommy had planned a play date for me! Can you believe it?! All of a sudden she was like “Kylie want to go for a ride?”  BOY DO I?!? So we packed up my bag and brought some treats and water and poop bags and the camera and jumped in the Jeep. I’ve been a little fresh lately and try to climb over into the front seat… heheheh well this ride was no different. But she got mad and threatened to bring me home so I figured I better go lay down. I still didn’t know where this ride was going to take me. A pet store? A toy store? My friend Sunny’s house?? Nawnie and Papa’s? My buddy’s Bones & Mr. Fluffy’s??? *Chasing my tail with the possibilities!

Imagine my horror when we pulled in HERE!!!

(Observant readers will see that this picture has green leaves and no snow and will know Mommy used an OLD pic, but none-the-less, we did end up at the VETS!)

My cries fell on deaf ears and she made me go in!

That man at the counter said I had to go stand on the scale. I did well and sat very still and guess what!?! I’ve lost 3.6 pounds since August! I current am 53 lbs!! that’s down 10.2 lbs since April of last year when I was 63.2 lbs! Whoo Hoo! Just wait until my yearly visit this year Mrs. Vet!! No more calling me FAT!!

Well, once that unpleasant-ness was done I was excited to get back in my Jeep! I still was hoping we were going somewhere FUN because if this was my “car ride” I wanted a refund.

Mom drove a little more and then pulled up to one of my favoritest places that I haven’t been for a long time! NATICK COMMON!

(Again, what is with the old pictures... did she NOT bring the camera with us today?!)

Those of you who are new readers might not know that I used to actually live right down the street from Natick Common and we would walk down and around there every morning! Since we moved out back in 2008 we haven’t been back much.

So I hopped out of the Jeep and was very excited to get sniffing. I had lots of ground to cover and time to make up for! Then guess who walked right up to me and Mommy…

But this handsome fellow!

Turns out his name is Reese. His Mommy Mallory was at the same school to learn about Kiddy Kennels as my Mommy!  Well they got to talking about us doggies and well of COURSE they wanted us to meet! Since I can be a bit… well… lets say, selective on who I want to be friends with, Mom figured it would be best if we just went on a big walk together and skipped the whole face to face meeting. It worked out well.  Mommy and Mallory kept saying what a good girl I was being. I never even growled at him! A couple times he was getting a little cracker dog and jumping around and I shot him the evil eye and Mommy would make me switch sides, but we were all pleased with the outcome! Next time Mommy says we can try letting us sniff more after the walk. (Don’t worry, I would sneak a butt sniff when no one was looking!   )

Well, Mommy is dump and left the big new camera in the car for our 3 mile walk (some crap about not wanting to carry it around her neck the whole time) and was too busy chatting to realize she had a camera phone with her to take pictures of us walking side by side… so humor me …

After our walk we each had our Mommys drive us over to a sub shop so we could rest in the car while they chatted more. before we left though, Mommy put me in the Jeep and went and took some pictures of Reese, with MY camera, and fed him MY treats, and PET him…. I don’t know about this, but I think that is called CHEATING Mommy!!  Do you pups put up with your parents cheating on you, right in front of your face?!

Another Angel over the Rainbow Bridge

I just found out some very sad news. My second cousin who I met only a couple times has crossed the rainbow bridge. Her name was Candy and she was 14 years young. Mommy says she had various health issues that had been coming up later in life and I guess it was just her time to go. Mommy is very sad because Candy lived right night door to her at her Aunt and Uncles house for many years, she was like a second doggie to her. When Chelsea left, Candy was always there with a tail wag and some kisses to help cheer her up. Her Aunt and Uncle always would let her walk Candy and let Mommy pretend sometimes she still had a doggie. Somewhere Mommy has pictures of her walking little puppy Candy with Little Mommy!! We wish we could post them but they arent scanned and probably packed away somewhere.

Please say a small prayer that Candy made a safe trip over the rainbow Bridge.

And please please say a prayer for her Mommy (Julie), Daddy (Mike), her Human Brother (Chris 18 yrs) and Human Sister (Katie 15 yrs) This is very hard time for them and Candy is deeply missed by all of us.
