because mommy was selected to sit in a jury for a federal criminal trial. It is estimated to last 8-9 days. I am not happy about this and from all the HOB words from mommy, I don’t think she’s too happy either!

Last weekend I was so happy to come outside and see the sun shining and the temperatures in the low 70′s on Saturday! Mommy and Daddy and I went for a big long walk all round my Estate and after we took some photos. Want to see?? Here we go!

Oh… for all you NON- Bostonians:
** March 17 is Evacuation Day, a holiday observed in Suffolk County (which includes the city of Boston) and by the public schools in Boston, Cambridge and Somerville, Massachusetts. The holiday commemorates the evacuation of British forces from the city of Boston following the Siege of Boston, early in the American Revolutionary War. Schools and government offices in Boston are closed. If March 17 falls on a weekend, schools and government offices are closed on the following Monday in observance. It is the same day as Saint Patrick’s Day, a coincidence that played a role in the establishment of the holiday.
