I am most very sorry that I did not post to you sooners. (I blame it all on Mommy, you can too!) Well you will not believes it but Dad and Mom made me go to the VET!!! AhhhH! It wasn’t even my normal VET lady that I have worked so hard to be nice to. It was some dude vet. He was friendly enough, and he gave me lots of treats, but would you believe me if I told you that they stuck a thermometer… Oh I can’t even say it! I might have to start going to therapy to forget it! I mean, honestly, it was the first time we were meeting!! Then, his torture assistant held my upper body and he kept touching my BUTT and back legs! I don’t know about you but I am not ok with ANYONE getting near my most delicate and sensitive derriere. He wiggled and pulled my leggies, I was shaking but I did not act out in pain. He told Mom that I probably sprained something in my owie leg. (Most common is the knee) He made Mommy (well really Daddy, hehehe) buy me some most yummy chewie treats that are supposed to make my leggie better. So far it seems to be working because even though I was told I couldn’t do ANYTHING except rest, I have been driving Mommy and Daddy crazy trying to get them to PLAY with me!! I just love this cool crisp weather and I want to PLAY!! They will not have any of that. Hurmph. Well, I guess that means I am happy and healthy, but do me a favor, don’t tell Mommy cause I keep getting special treats and foodables (for hip and joints) and I keep getting to sleep in Mommy and Daddys room NOT in my nite-nite crate. And I get to rest on the couch between Mommy and Daddy. They think it keeps me more still! HA! AND I got a new special mattress for my big round bed. It is something called orthopedic. I insist that all of you demand one of these for yourself.
Hope all of you are doing well, I will try to get around to commenting but the good news is that Mommy has some promising leads on new workies! Keep your paws crossed!
Licks,
Kylie
PeeS: Since this post has no pictures, here are some from Monday that Mommy took when she got home from a workie interview. These friendly faces were in our backyard… er… back river!
