Guess what I did!

Hey everybuddy, it’s me, Jimmy!!

You will never guess where we got to go yesterday! The VET!! I had such a great time! It wasn’t our usual vet!  We used to always have to get into the Jeep and drive from our town to Kylie and Mommy’s old town Natick (about 30 min). This time, we just hopped in the car and went down the street.

When we got there, I met a super cute little yellow lab girlie who was really wanting to play with me, but you could tell she didn’t feel so good. So our moms kept us apart. Kylie was with me too, because she takes a long time to like people and we figured if she just got to tag along with me and see that I wasn’t scared, maybe she wouldn’t be scared when she has to come for reals. I think she was a little jelly of the yellow labbie girl… she kept coming over and trying to push me out of the way and giving that girlie a mean look. What can I say, all the ladies luv me! wooof! (Sorry no pics of her, mom forgot she had her phone to take photos)

Well after my girlie friend left it was time for us to go into another room. It was really big and had a funny table in the middle and a big window that went all the way down to the floor so we could keep an eye out.

Daddy came with us and he was holding Kylie and telling her to be brave.

So Mom, what are we doing here? Let’s get this show on the road!

My new Vet lady is named Ms Cathy. She was super duper nice and guess what!? When she came in I gave her my Jimmy wiggle welcome complete with Kisses! And guess who else came right over to sit and say hello?! Without so much as a peep! Miss Kylie!! We were all very excited that Kylie felt that comfortable around her.

She made that table go down to the floor and said if I could stand on it, she would give me treats!  Consider it done!

So where is my treat?

I can sit, no problem!

Then she brought a friend in and they were both holding me and petting me on the high table and then guess what!

It’s nice to meet you!

I also had to get a shot in one back leggie and they stole my bloods from the other back leggie. But I was super brave and didn’t even flinch! Mommy just kept looking at my face and telling me what a good boy I was. I have to go back in a couple weeks to get one more shot in my leggie, but I’m not worried!

You want to hear the BESTEST news we hear from the vet? She said that I need to eat MORE! BOL Kylie was told she was FAT at her vet but my new vet said I am too skinny and we are going to up my food to 3 CUPS a day! (Right now I only get 2 cups, 1 in the morning and 1 at dinner.) So we hope that helps me fill out, but they also want to look at my poops… Those humans sure can be pretty weird. So we will bring her some because if I don’t put on weight from eating more she thinks there might be little monsters inside me that are stealing all my foods! We will keep you posted if I have monsters inside me. But for now, I am a happy healthy guy who gets more food!

You know what else makes me super happy?

I get to celebrate my first Kylie’s 25 Day’s of Christmas! I am so excited! And to make me super happy to announce that we had our first 2 donations!

Kylie’s long time friend Preston the Puggle has offered to match our donation AGAIN this year! And you know what else? He has the most adorable newest  littlest brother a puggle could have, Nolan! And Nolan wants to celebrate too and he ALSO offered to MATCH our donation!! So now we have an amazing $75.00 for the Grand Prize Winner to give to their shelter/rescue! You know that means you could even give it to YOUR favorite shelter/rescue!! You just have to play along in the month of December!

Time for a Give-A-Way!!

It’s time to celebrate Jimmy becoming part of our family!! The very friendly people at Premier gave us a couple of toys to review for them.

I was no dummy… I know that treats go in this toy!!

Here are the items we picked to review:

The Twist N’ Treat:

Well I sure like this toy lots. You want to know why??? It give me TREATS!!! I have the Tug a Jug and the Kibble nibble and Jimmy and I eat our breakfast and dinner out of them every day. But this toy was one we hadn’t tried. It is pretty easy, even on the tightest (Toughest) setting but for some of you doggies who don’t like to work hard for your reward it might be just right for you! One thing we haven’t tried yet is putting PEANUT BUTTER inside and getting to lick it clean like a Kong.

Well, one thing was right, it was hours of fun, FOR JIMMY! He wouldn’t let me near it! Within the first 10 min he set about severing one of poor bunnies ears!! Well, Mommy saw that and took it away from him and thought maybe later she would let ME play with it, since I outgrew killing my stuffies. When she gave it to me later, HE STOLE it again!!! And this time he even got down to the rubber frame they talk about, and ate that too!! See, Jimmy doesn’t just destuff stuffies, he EATS stuffies, skin and stuffing alike! You think it was bacon flavored with that boy! (which is why all stuffies have been banished to the attic) So, We tried to play tug with it and it seemed to hold up pretty well, but if you have a stuffie killer in your house, beware- even with no stuffing, poor bunny never stood a chance!!

Now, that was a lot of words, so lets get to some more pictures.

My 4th Birthday Party

Well first I would like to say thank you for all my birthday wishes! You are the best furiends a pup could ask for!! Well, This morning I was helping Mommy clean up before my guests arrived.

Kitchen Table set… Check
Human foodables out… Check

Open play space for playing… Check.

Room to Zooming back and forth through the kitchen and living room… Check. (Mommy didn’t seem to think that this was a good idea… I wonder why not!?)

My present table along with party favors and cookies for my guests!

Aww Mommy and Daddy got me a Birthday Cupcake stuffie!! And it Squeeks!

Mommy has been wanting to get me a new puzzle toy because well, lets face it, I’m a genius and I am too good for the tug-a-jug!! I can have that sucker empty in a few minutes!

Mommy saw these at the store she bought the Kibble Nibble from… She said she couldn’t resist! She says they are for our guest…

My furiends are really coming right?

My furiend Molly was first to arrive. I haven’t seen her since we moved into our new house! I was a little unsure about her coming inside and we had a little tiff to figure out who was in charge, but then we remembered our pecking order and things were good. After she came, Zoe my neighbor doggie came over too to say Happy Birthday! Molly and Zoe really hit it off!

Next to arrive was my newest friend Bailey. She lives across the street from me with her humans Lisa (Green) and Becky (Gray) and we have gone on a couple of walks together and I started to warm up to her. She’s very nice Mommy says… I had a good zoomie session with her on Saturday, but I wasn’t so sure if we were up to in my house play, after all, it’s MY house… Zoe introduced herself to everyone.

Zoe sure thought SHE was the life of the party… Where was I???

Mommy put me on a down on my bed… just because I was a little grumpy with all these pups in my house! Can you believe it!

Thankfully Denise, Molly’s Mom, felt bad for me and came over to give me some one on one birthday belly rubs!

Bailey sat nice for Mommy too.

After Molly had an accident inside on the rug introductions were made, it was time to move the party out in the back yard!

Molly and Bailey really got along great! They loved chasing each other, er chasing Molly!

Oh Boy, did I miss running with Molly!!

Molly runs so fast that the humans put her on my yellow line, because we didn’t want her running so fast right into the road! But it made for a very fun game for the humans of Jump Rope!

After all that zooming it was time for…

Mommy worked really hard on making me my very own Peanut Butter and Carrot Cake!!

So Mommy had tried to even video me and my cake but it was just too dark. You couldn’t even see my pretty face! So we went with the camera with a flash instead!

Jack-pot! Did you see the size of the bag of treats she brought me?! And a super pawesome new stuffie that’s all organic.

Zoe had left a gift before she had to go too! It was a wonderful yellow stuffy that has 5- yes FIVE squeekers!

After my friends had left, Daddy went out to get the mail and guess what! There was a package for me!! A beautiful Pupcake Birthday collar from my friends over at Cody’s Creations! What a cool surprise!

Mommy had to hold my furs back so you could see it.

Well I think I might have just had the best birthday that there ever was!!

Sunday= Playdate

Remember that picture Mommy showed you

Well that was a friend of hers about 50 years ago five years ago. They lost touch but have recently reconnected.

And guess what, She has a little black doggie too! Her name is Nicky! I got to go meet Nicky and Mommy said I had to be on my BEST behavior! And I was! Nicky and I took a walk together and got in some good sniffing and then when she playbowed, I was in!! It was on!! Here are some of the pictures from my playdate on Sunday.

A little bit of winter wonderland

Late last night I went out to have a final Pee and it was SNOWING!! Mommy let me play off leash for a few minutes with her because it was late and no one would see. But I couldn’t WAIT for morning to come so I could get outside and see how much we would get and have a good romp with Molly! I was told she LOVES snow! Can you believe it? She doesn’t even have a big fur coat like me!!

Where in the World is Pink Baby PUPDATE!

Hey evfurry one! Sorry I haven’t posted since Monday… you all know what it is like during the work week. But when Mommy comes home from work after dinner we sit together on the couch and read everyone’s bloggies! I love catching up each day on all your adventures!

Well, first to address some of your comments from Monday.

As some of you know, I was a rescue dog!!

Someone said I was a border collie/flat coat retriever. Now, I’m not sure if they knew my mom and dad or if that’s just their best guess. I was told I was born in some place called Arkansas, according to my rabies tag. Then I was moved to a shelter in Tennessee, where they used to call me Fuffer. But that shelter didn’t have enough room and they had a waiting list of doggies that had to come in so they used to…. yea…. not so good for the doggies that were their past their “expected adoption day”.  BUT… lucky for ME, I was saved from that scary place from an organization called PetMatchMaker.org just before my time was up!! Those people were really nice and friendly and helped me to find my forever home.  They started to call me Gracie and told me I had to take a really long bus ride with a lot of other dogs that were also on their journy to find their forever home. We all rode on that bus all the way from Tennessee to Rhode Island! Master Chew Sit’s has some thing called a law (you can’t chew it, I already asked) that says if you’re a doggie not from Master Chew Sits, you have to wait 48 hours before they will let you come in. Talk about waiting in a line!!

So once the “V-E-T” had room for me to do my 48 hour stay over my forever Mom and Dad came all the way down to RI to pick me up and drive me to the qaurinteen. I stayed their and got spayed and micro chipped too on my last day there.

So I was only 7 months old (roughly) when I came to live with Mommy and Daddy. They don’t really KNOW what happened all the time that I was traveling around. But when I came to live with Mommy and Daddy I was very scared. It took they a lot of time and patience to get me to be more friendly, even to them. But they found once I warmed up to people I am their BESTEST FURIEND in the WORLD!! SO, they found out I was also scared of motorcycles, thunder, fireworks, shot gun sounds, trash barrels, the dark, plastic bags blowing in the wind… BOL You think I am kidding!!

So it’s hard to tell WHAT it was that had me so scared on Monday!!

SO guess what else I have to post about!! I got a pressie in the mail!!

I wonder who it could be from!?

It’s my package from Addie for being a contestant on the BIGGEST LOOSER PET EDITION!!

But look at all this COOL stuff I got!!

I got a PAWSOME Orange bandanna with bones and paw prints, A Reices Pieces stuffie (How did you KNOW that is my Mommy’s favorite candy?!) Oh yea, and Mommy got some pressies too but they aren’t as Pawtastic as mine. She got some white board that she can write messages on and stick stuff too. She told Daddy she was putting it on the fridge to write notes back and forth about who fed me and who needs to take me for a walk next… AND she got a little plastic orange thing too. She says it is for her, but I keep trying to steal it when she isnt looking and chew on it. BOL I even sneeked it off the couch!! (Mommy: THANK you very much Addie and Staci, your package was great!!)
