Hi evfurryone! I will be on my Kylie Cam around 10:30am est today!

Mommy is going to see her sister and nephews and niece! They even have a wonderful golden retriever named Maggie but I can not go. 😦 They still don’t trust me with the kids. So I will be snoozing for the world to see!

Be sure to leave a comment when you check in on me cause Mommy hasn’t left me since she was working! I think she’s a little nervous! BOL Well, off to get a walk out of her before she leaves!  Be sure to check back!

Mommy was very nice and took me for a very long walk, but we were running a bit late now. She says she can’t turn on the Kylie cam until she is all done her shower and dressed, whatever that means. BOL

It should be on shortly though!! Sorry for the delay!

WOOOF! Hello Evfurrybody! I saw everyone was getting to cook and bake yummy treats so I made Mommy get off her butt and help me make something good! BOL

Here we go:

100_5786

First we got out all the ingrediants and supplies we would need.

100_5787I’ll be your baking teacher for this recipe! BOL

100_5790Let’s see, what do we need first?

100_5793I think we need the flour in that bowl… oh wait let me share with you what we are making!

100_5796Daddy got me this book. We are going to make the Banana Chip recipe! yummm I’m getting hungry already!

2 2/5 cup whole wheat flour
2/5 cup low fat or skim milk
1 Egg
1 Banana
1 teaspoon corn syrup

100_5797First put in the flour, then pour in the milk.

100_5798Then add the egg.

100_5799Then corn syrup.

You want to mush up or puree the banana and put that in too. Daddy used a big nosie mixer thing to mush it all together!

100_5803Make sure you investigate and double check that all the banana is in the treats!

100_5807That fork was what Mommy used to mush up the banana.

100_5808yummmmmm

100_5809Then you get a big wad of dough and Mom pushes it out with her hands into a big patty and starts to put out cookies.

100_5810These are the training bit size that mommy uses for me.

100_5812Put them all on a cookie sheet and they are going to go into a preheated oven at 300 degrees for 30 minutes.

100_5813Are they ready to eat YET?

100_5816If you can wait, they say to let them cool overnight and then put them in an air tight container.

ENJOY!

I SAW THE OCEAN!

Guess what?! I got to see a really really big lake! It had waves, and a salty smell in the air and was tasty when you licked it! Kinda like Mommy’s salty cheeks! Mom was calling it the OCEAN! I looked as far as I could to see if I could see Ludo on the other side, but I didn’t see him.

100_58221That looks a lot different then my lake!!

But this needs to come first!

A forward from Bruschi\’s Mom:

God Lives in the Post Office

This is one of the kindest things I\’ve ever experienced.   I have no way to know who sent it, but there is a beautiful soul working in the \”dead letter office file\” of the US Postal Service..

Our 14-year-old dog, Abbey, died last month.   The day after she died, my 4-year-old daughter Meredith was crying and talking about how much she missed Abbey.   She asked if we could write a letter to God so that when Abbey got to heaven, God would recognize her.   I told her that I thought we could so she dictated these words:

Dear God,
Will you please take care of my dog?   She died yesterday and is with you in heaven.   I miss her very much.   I am happy that you let me have her as my dog even though she got sick. I hope you will play with her.   She likes to play with balls and to swim.   I am sending a picture of her so when you see her, You will know that she is my dog.    I really miss her.
Love,  Meredith

We put the letter in an envelope with a picture of Abbey and Meredith and addressed it to God/Heaven.   We put our return address on it.   Then Meredith pasted several stamps on the front of the envelope because she said it would take lots of stamps to get the letter all the way to heaven.   That afternoon she dropped it into the letter box at the post office.    A few days later, she asked if God had gotten the letter yet.   I told her that I thought He had.

Yesterday, there was a package wrapped in gold paper on our front porch addressed, To Meredith, in an unfamiliar hand. Meredith opened it.  Inside was a book by Mr. Rogers called, ‘When a Pet Dies.’  Taped to the inside front cover was the letter we had written to God in its opened envelope. On the opposite page was the picture of Abbey & Meredith and this note:

Dear Meredith,

Abbey arrived safely in heaven. Having the picture was a big help.   I recognized Abbey right away. Abbey isn’t sick anymore.   Her spirit is here with me just like it stays in your heart.   Abbey loved being your dog. Since we don’t need our bodies in heaven, I don\’t have any pockets to keep your picture in, so I am sending it back to you in this little book for you to keep and have something to remember Abbey by. Thank you for the beautiful letter and thank your mother for helping you write it and sending it to me.   What a wonderful mother you have.   I picked her especially for you. I send my blessings every day and remember that I love you very much. By the way, I’m easy to find.   I am wherever there is love.
Love,
God
