Nite Nite

I have a Nite Nite (also known as a crate or bed for some of you other pups) and well it was starting to get a little on the tight side. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I could stand up and turn around, but I don’t know about you but when I sleep I like to STRETCH OUT! BOL…. So I gave Mom and Dad some pathetic Puppy Eyes a few times and guess what came in the mail the other day? A NEW CRATE! It’s much roomier!

The other weird thing Mommy and Daddy always make fun of me for is I hate having bedding in my bed! They always try to put mats and blankets in but I will make my own bed and bite them or flip them up with my paws so that they are squished in the corner and out of my way. Mom tried putting a big comforter in to see if I would want to snuggle with that since its been soooo cold here lately, even the Lake is frozen on the top!

Weekend Puzzle

Hi Everyone! Thank you all for your nice messages. I am sorry it took me so long to get back online. Well some of you asked what the vet had given me for the itching. Mom’s camera is kinda stinky for up close shots so I will tell you it says:

VIRBAC ANIMAL HEALTH
Dermatology
ResiCORT Leave on lotion for dogs, cats and horses.
Hydrocortisone 1% W/W
Antipuritic, Anti-Inflamitory.

We have only used it once so far. I was due for my Frontline so Mom & Dad didn’t want to get me wet to put it on. I will get another shower with Mom on Tuesday for my next dose. The bottle says 2-3 time a week for 2 weeks, so I’m a little behind. Since Friday Mom & Dad thought I was doing much better, so they took me off the Benadryl, but turns out I’ve started biting myself again. Mom even found a spot on my back leg where I bit so much it’s all red and raised now… 😦 She keeps threatening to put an e-collar on me!

Mom and Dad started me on a new food. Right now it’s just a little bit mixed in with my old to make sure my tummy can handle it, but it seems to be ok. It’s Innova Low Fat Adult Dry Dog Food since the Vet told Mom & Dad last week that I’m still overweight. But at least I still get Bravo Salmon oil on it too! Mmmm

This week since I was just hanging out with Dad we worked on a puzzle. I was a big help according to Dad.

This is when I was just taking a break and keeping an eye on their progress.

Not feeling so good

Hi everybody… First, thank you all for the wonderful comments on our pumpkins. We worked really hard and are really glad that people were able to enjoy them since we only got 6 trick-or-treaters.

Second, I wanted to say sorry I haven’t been on much. I haven’t been feeling so good and Mom and Dad brought me to the vet last night. She says it is probably an allergy! It seems a lot of us are having those! Well they gave me some medicine and a new leave in conditioner and I’m just home resting with Dad.

Maybe if I’m no so sleepy tonight I will be able to post some more.

They aren’t as cool looking with the lights on but since I’m black you can’t see me with them out! I don’t think that scarecrow is so scary! Can you see the resemblance? I think I did a great job modeling for mom to draw me on her pumpkin!

I hope you all had a great halloween. We only had 6 Trick-or-Treaters in our new neighborhood and they kept me in the other room when they came to the door because I tend to bark if I don’t know you. I had great fun watching Addie’s contest drawing this morning! Thanks Addie for letting us all play.
